Eyes widening at the man, Zone's brain slowly processed the brief exchange of words. Looking from Lucy to the man, Zone said "Wait... what?"

"Zone, this is my dad, Henry Carmichael. Daddy, this is my boyfriend, Zonias Nytt." Lucy said, introducing the two men in her life.

Henry glared at Zone. "How did you meet my daughter? Where did you come from?" he demanded.

Deeciding to be as polite as possible towards his girlfriend's faher, Zone said "I met her at camp, and I am from California, sir."

"Camp? You mean you're one of those freaks?" Henry demanded.

"Daddy!" Lucy exclaimed, standing up. Henry got a good look at Lucy and weny back to glaring at Zone.

"Did you do that to her?!" he shouted, advancing on Zone.

Stunned that the man would indirectly call his own daughter a freak, Zone's eyes narrowed as he slowly stood to his full height, his stitched cheeks glowing slightly in the low light of the restaurant. "We are not freaks." Zone said, ignoring the second question/exclamation.

"You sure as hell look like one!" Henry shouted.

"Daddy! Stop it!" Lucy exclaimed. Henry turned on her.

"You. How could you be so stupid? You're fifteen!" Henry was clearly furious.

"Zone and I love each other. We can take care of this baby." Lucy said firmly walking over to Zone and standing beside him.

Growling in fury as the man began to shout at his daughter, Zone wrapped one cloaked arm around Lucy's shoulders, saying "I love Lucy, and father or not, I refuse to let you talk to her that way!"

"Don't you are tell me how to talk to my daughter when you're the one that got her pregnant!" Henry yelled.

"Daddy, I'm 17 tomorrow. I'm almost an adult, I'm not 15 anymore." Lucy protested.

Growling as anger flooded through his body, Zone said "Sorry about this love." to Lucy before swinging his fist at her father. After it struck him, he would hand his keys to Lucy and say "I'll see you at home. I'm just going to make a quick stop." Before kissing Lucy passionately, just to add insult to injury, and storm out the door.

Henry fell back from the pure force of the punch, landing on top of a table.

Lucy was in shock for a moment but came out of it as her father stood up.

"Lousy, good for nothing-" he began.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence." Lucy growled, her crazy emotions taking a turn for the negative. "Zone has been nothing but loving to me and supportive. You need to get over yourself and realize that there is a new man in my life and he is ten times the man that you will ever be. So go f*ck yourself." Lucy stormed out of the restaurant to look for Zone.

~~~~1 Hour Later~~~~

Grimacing as he downed another drink, the natural acids in his body dissolving the alcohol much faster than normal, Zone enjoyed the burning sensation of the alcohol running down his throat. The bartender seemed surprised that Zone wasnt the least bit tipsy despite the dozens of drinks he had already consumed, but as long as he kept his (neverending) money coming, he would leave the poor guy alone.

Lucy pulled up to the bar. This seemed like Zone's kind of place. She pulled herself out of the car and walked into the bar, looking around. It was dark and scary in this place and she just wanted to find Zone. She could feel the stares of the guys in the bar as she slipped through the crowd. She yelped when she felt someone grab her butt. She turned around to see an intimidating guy grinning. "Hey little girl. What are you doing around here?" he said.

"Leave me alone." Lucy said loudly.

Turning around as he heard Lucy's voice, he saw a man a few inches shorter than himself grab Lucy's butt. Growling, he turned and immediately began to sprint towards him, jumping as he neared the man and spinning, slamming his heel into the back of the man's head at full force and instantly knocking him out as Zone landed on his feet, sweeping Lucy into a hug.

Lucy was shocked but relaxed in Zone's arms. She pulled away a little. "You smell of alcohol." she told him. "Are you okay?" She placed her hand on his cheek.

Lashing out with his foot to strike an approaching attacker in the... lower region. Facing Lucy, Zone frowned as said "I'm fine. It's just... I sort of lost it when your father called us freaks."

Lucy took Zone's face in her hands and kissed him. "Don't listen to my dad. He is just..." Lucy trailed off for a moment. Then she kissed him again before saying, I lobe you."

Returning the kiss, Zone said "I love you too." with a smile on his face that morphed into a sly grin. "Wanna do it?" Zone asked.

Lucy smiled softly. "You've had to much to drink my love. Come on. I'll drive home." she said, taking his hand and pulling him towards the car.

Lucy sat on the couch staring at her enlarged stomach. There was one month left in her pregnancy and she was both nervous and excited at the same time.

Sitting down next to Lucy, Zone smiled gently as he kissed Lucy in an attempt to calm her down, slowly rubbing her stomach as he pulled back from the kiss, saying "It's okay. You're going to be a great mom."

"I'm huge." she muttered. "Who knew a small human could do this much to a body? I'm going to have stretch marks for the rest of my life." She looked at Zone before sighing. A small smile appeared on her face. "But it will be worth it when I see the most amazing child to ever be born." she said softly before she kissed Zone.
